EcoSanRes Phase 2

EcoSanRes is currently completing its Phase 2, a 5-year programme (2006-2011) financed by Sida that emphasizes pro-poor sustainable sanitation through development of regional nodes, capacity building and knowledge management.

EcoSanRes (ecological sanitation research) phase 1 was an international environment and development programme on ecological sanitation. It had its roots in the pioneering SanRes programme which ran from 1993 to 2002. Sponsored by Sida, managed by Stockholm Environment Institute with a world network of  20 organisations.
