Hamsa Ibrahim and Moussa Ibrahim, Maifarou

Hamsa Ibrahim – dry toilet owner

  • It is now two months since I have my dry toilet and I like it a lot. It is the first toilet that I have. I prefer the dry toilet to the composing toilet because it is faster to produce the Taki Bussasché. Everyone in my family use the toilet, even the children.
Moussa Ibrahim – village chief
  • I have a plot of land by a neighbouring village, where I used Takin Ruwa to grow pepper. The others saw the intense green color of the leaves, and wondered what I had done. Both in flowering and fruiting there was a clear difference. I explained to them and they said they would start the urine collection to prepare for the next season.
  • In the very beginning people were a bit suspicious. It is especially the tests that have convinced us. I think all farmers who see this method should be interested.
